The Governors of the NSE are set out on the Contacts Page. There are representations from medical, charitable, legal and financial disciplines, as one might expect. There is also a surprisingly large number with backgrounds in commercial property development. This expertise is in addition to that of the NSE's Director of Estates, Mr Tristram Reynolds, who is a paid employee of the NSE and has a strong town planning background. In addition to the Governors, Sir Nigel Mobbs has been a vice president of the NSE since December 1996; Sir Nigel is chairman of Slough Estates plc and the Bovis Homes Group, director of Barclays Bank and Howard de Walden Estates Limited. Further details on the backgrounds of Governors with property backgrounds is provided on page 2 of sense's Newsletter #8. None of the Governors (or indeed senior management) of the NSE live in the immediate vicinity of the NSE's site. Mr Wilson was resident in Misbourne Avenue until July 2003, when he moved to Gerrards Cross. None of the NSE's Governors would therefore be touched by the adverse consequences of the scheme if it were permitted to proceed.
