The NSE's documentation states:

". . . we are not proposing any building development outside of the existing perimeter of our site - nor do we have any intention to do so in the foreseeable future."

Well, that does sounds rather fine, but in reality depends upon the definition of 'perimeter'.  Have a look at the map of the NSE site today. sense suggest that the perimeter of the NSE site is effectively the yellow line. That being so, the NSE's proposed housing estate (outlined in purple on the 3rd map on that page) is already be outside the perimeter.

And what of the longer term plans?  After meeting with CEO Mr Graham Faulkner and corresponding with him for further and better particulars that haven't been forthcoming, sense have very little confidence in any promises he might make in this area.  This has been reinforced by the bombshell revelation that the formal planning application to CDC in May 2004 is £7Million bigger than originally put about in the community. So much for listening to the community and keeping it informed.
