"sense" has been formed by residents in the Chalfont St. Peter community who are seriously concerned with the proposals by the National Society for Epilepsy (NSE) to to sell off part of their Green Belt land for a major housing development. The members of the "sense-ible" community believe that the NSE's proposal is wholly untenable in its present or any similar form. This does not mean we do not think the NSE's long-term care residents shouldn't have better accommodation - far from it - but it needn't cost anything like £25Million (raised in May 2004 without notice to £32Million). It need not be a massive burden on Chalfont St Peter.

We have formed to oppose the NSE's scheme. We invite all persons with an interest in Chalfont St. Peter to consider our Website and the NSE's publicity very seriously. We further invite all persons with similar interests and reservations to join us.
