You've
already done a lot. 1,800+ signatures on a village petition is a
fantastic demonstration of the incredible level of opposition to
the NSE's proposal. And that was before the NSE stunned everyone
by increasing their selfish cash requirement from £25Million
to £32Million! We must maintain a level of vigilance and activity
that prevents the NSE from steamrollering its selfish proposals
through on the basis of spin and sham consultation with their neighbours.
These are the generic things you can do at any time to help:
Write
to the NSE. (Please copy
us) We've relegated this to bottom of the stack because
experience has shown this to just be 'Water off a Duck's back' to
the NSE.
Additionally
sense will maintain a Webpage that details where matters
stand on the campaign and what you should be doing at that time
to support it. Please bookmark that page and return to it every
couple of weeks - if you run a computerised diary, put in a recurring
task to do just that.
The
next level up in supporting the cause is to join sense.
It's not onerous - in fact, if anything, it's increasing local community
awareness and interaction.
